Proposal Writer (RFP)

Role overview

As a Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for writing, editing, and managing proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and develop well-structured, persuasive proposals that effectively communicate our value proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze RFPs to understand requirements and develop proposal outlines.
• Write, edit, and proofread proposals to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Customize content to highlight company strengths and address client needs.
• Work closely with subject matter experts, sales, and technical teams to gather relevant details.
• Ensure proposals meet all RFP requirements, including format, content, and deadlines.
• Track proposal status, success rates, and maintain a repository of past proposals and templates.

Required skills

• 3+ years of experience in proposal writing, preferably responding to government or corporate RFPs.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand technical and business concepts and translate them into persuasive content.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, and proposal management tools.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in IT, gaming, or software development proposals.
• Familiarity with government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
